Article: Three Ways to Serve Blumond Beyond the Glass

Three Ways to Serve Blumond Beyond the Glass

A chilled glass, poured straight, is still the best way to meet Blumond for the first time — the color needs no help, and neither does the taste. But once you're past that first pour, there's more than one way to put the bottle to work at a table.

1. The simple spritz

Pour Blumond over ice with a splash of soda water and a wedge of lemon or a few muddled berries. This is less a recipe than a ratio you can adjust to taste — more soda for something lighter and easier to sip through an afternoon, less for something closer to the bottle on its own. It's the move for a backyard gathering where people are going to be refilling their own glasses for a few hours, not just one toast.

2. The frozen pour

Blend Blumond with a handful of frozen fruit — peaches or berries work well — for a slushy, half-frozen version that's built for the hottest part of summer. Keep it light on additions; the wine itself is doing most of the flavor work, and the goal is texture, not a new drink entirely.

3. The layered presentation

For a dinner or an event where you want a visual moment, pour Blumond slowly over a small amount of something denser at the bottom of the glass — a splash of grenadine or a fruit purée — so it settles instead of blending immediately. It creates a brief layered effect before it mixes on its own, and it photographs exactly as well as it sounds. This one's built for a table where the drink is meant to be noticed before it's tasted.

The one rule across all three

However you're serving it, keep it cold. Blumond is built to be crisp and refreshing, and that character fades fast at room temperature — chill the bottle well before opening, and don't let a poured glass sit out too long if you can help it.

Try all three — shop Blumond and find your favorite pour.
